My Weekly Pull | 5 |
My Weekly Pull is something I'm going to be doing every Wednesday to show which anime or manga I had pulled for myself that week. My friend Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? hosts My Weekly Pull for comics that she has read or is reading, so make sure to check her out because it was such a cool and fun idea that I asked if I could do it for anime and manga (I don't get to read a lot of comics sadly)!

Last Week's Anime...
I really didn't get much anime watched this past week (too busy working). But I did find some OVA episodes of a anime I watched and loved two years ago!!
Noragami!!
Last Week's Manga...
I just had one because of my busy schedule...
One Punch Man Vol. 1
While I did like the manga for One Punch Man, I still enjoy rewatching the anime a bit more.
This Week's Anime!
I clearly am behind (just a bit) on watching some anime, so I hope to make it up by watching some more Fairy Tail! The Final season is out, so I have to rewatch everything and get ready!!
This Week's Manga!
This week for manga I just have a small amount (once again -_-)!
Bleach Vol. 1
Bleach Vol. 2
Bleach Vol. 3
This close to the holidays, work has been picking up like crazy so I have to pick small amounts of anime and manga :(
What have you been recently watching or reading in terms of anime and manga?
What do you plan on next?
Have a good one!

Cinnamon Apple Spice & November Reads
As you all know by now, I'm utterly obsessed with coffee.
Which means I don't drink tea that often- however- I recognized about three weeks ago that I couldn't drink coffee at eleven o'clock at night and still get up at 8 in the morning and go to one of my jobs and- yet again- drink another large cup of coffee before I leave. So I went to my store and bought some caffeine-free herbal teas to try. Now I've never drunk these kinds of tea in my life- the only tea I've had was southern sweet tea that my whole family lives off of (we're southern it's a thing).
Low and behold, the tea that I now love and is now my favorite flavor is Cinnamon Apple Spice!
The tea has a spice that's delicious and sweet~ so I decided to share some recipes that are Cinnamon Apple Spice related, and some Books that have a November feel to them in my opinion!
November Reads
(The books mentioned are in the picture above as well!)
A Walk To Remember by Nicholas Sparks
After Alice by Gregory Maguire
Wildwood by Colin Meloy
Edgar Allen Poe: Essential Tales and Poems (Barnes and Noble Edition)
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
The covers just give me that ''fireplace and hot cocoa'' feel y'know?
Cinnamon Apple Spice Time~
Recipes to do with Cinnamon Apple Spice!
Cinnamon Apple Crisp
Cinnamon Apple Bread
Cinnamon Apple Tea Latte
Apple Cinnamon Muffins
Isn't it the perfect season for these flavors? (Unless you're like me, and could drink them all year long- but you can't because stores don't sell them out of season.)
What's on your fall menu? I know a lot of you like to bake or eat baked goodies (don't we all), so what are your fall favorites??

Last Week's Anime...
Some more My Hero Academia (just can't get enough Lol), Soul Eater is going well...and of course I made the bad decision of getting hooked on Your Lie In April...
Season 3 of My Hero Academia is now over, and now begins the wait for season 4!
I will most likely not continue watching Your Lie In April right now, even though I'm already on episode 6... I'll definitely come back and watch more at some point though.
Last Week's Manga...
One Piece Vol. 1
One Piece Vol. 2
Jack Frost Vol. 1
Ah, lovely manga! I would like to continue the One Piece manga, I think the only thing of the anime I'll watch is the openings (I'm obsessed with anime openings xD).
I'm happy my library has more volumes for each of these mangas, I'll definitely be having to do another trip soon!
This Week's Anime!
Hmm.... this week for anime?
I'll be getting around to watch Fairy Tail season 2 hopefully,
I'm also already on episode 5 of Overlord,
and I will, of course, be watching some more Soul Eater when I can!
This Week's Manga!
This week I just have one manga to read!
One Punch Man Vol. 1
What have you been recently watching or reading in terms of anime and manga?
What do you plan on next?

Olivia Twist by Lorie Langdon
Title: Olivia Twist
Author: Lorie Langdon
Published: March 6th, 2018
Synopsis:
Olivia Twist is an innovative reimagining of Charles Dickens' classic tale Oliver Twist, in which Olivia was forced to live as a boy for her own safety until she was rescued from the streets. Now eighteen, Olivia finds herself at a crossroads: revealed secrets threaten to destroy the "proper" life she has built for herself, while newfound feelings for an arrogant young man she shouldn't like could derail her carefully laid plans for the future.
Olivia Brownlow is no damsel in distress. Born in a workhouse and raised as a boy among thieving London street gangs, she is as tough and cunning as they come. When she is taken in by her uncle after a caper gone wrong, her life goes from fighting and stealing on the streets to lavish dinners and soirees as a debutante in high society. But she can’t seem to escape her past … or forget the teeming slums where children just like her still scrabble to survive.
Jack MacCarron rose from his place in London's East End to become the adopted "nephew" of a society matron. Little does society know that MacCarron is a false name for a boy once known among London gangs as the Artful Dodger, and that he and his “aunt” are robbing them blind every chance they get. When Jack encounters Olivia Brownlow in places he least expects, his curiosity is piqued. Why is a society girl helping a bunch of homeless orphan thieves? Even more intriguing, why does she remind him so much of someone he once knew? Jack finds himself wondering if going legit and risking it all might be worth it for love.

First: This is now one of my new favorite books- so so good!! From the beginning to the epilogue, I was enraptured and in love with the characters and the story.
Though I (of course) got annoyed once or twice- I easily forgave the stupid characters that obviously didn't know better (unlike us readers, of course). I will always be thankful when a protagonist doesn't make the kind of decisions that are made in horror movies, though.
So as the plot goes, it was interesting to see where it did actually end up going. While I love to guess what's going to happen in a book while I read it...sometimes it's harder for me. That's not a bad thing! Just that I could see so many different ways thing could've gone in the story that I wasn't sure what the author was going to do in this unique version of Oliver Twist.
But that ending though...
Gosh, I had to reread the last half of the book twice after I had officially finished it. Let me tell you, that does not happen too often- but when it does... I need to buy the book asap.
As for the characters...
I'm not even upset that *that one specifically annoying character that will not be named* died.
Jack was...an interesting character to read about and from. Lately, in YA books, I've noticed that when we share povs with love interests...the guy is this dark, mysterious person that is hurt and has to open up to the girl gradually (or through force at certain times). While there was that vibe in this book too, Jack already knew Olivia from when they were kids- so it wasn't so bad. It's just that they kinda lied to each other among other things and made out a few times which- sure, would make things awkward. Especially when some big secrets are being kept from each other.
(Way to make the reader feel awkward and second-hand-embarrassment for like 8 chapters BTW.)
Olivia and Jack had an interesting relationship to read about, needless to say, and by interesting I mean rather funny and just made my day.
Would I want a sequel?
While I would LOVE another book, I can tell that it's not needed and might ruin the prefect ending that I'm so happy and inlove with already...so no I don't want a sequel- though I wouldn't mind! (Just putting that out there, Lol.)
[My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐]
Have any of you read Olivia Twist??
If so, what did you think? If not, would you want to try it?
Have an awesomely lovely day!!

Last Week's Anime...
So this past week I watched some more of Soul Eater,
FINALLY got caught up on Boku no hero Academia (YES, I'm one of those people),
And am continuously watching Attack on Titan and Your Lie In April (which I've already been spoiled for both, so...)
The above is also pretty much the same for what I'll be watching this week (when I find the time)
Last Week's Manga....
This past week I read:
Ouran High School Host Club Vol. 1
Ouran High School Host Club Vol. 2
I had put more time into anime than manga reading, so not much else there.... However, this week I hope to read some more!
One Piece Vol. 1
One Piece Vol. 2
Jack Frost Vol. 1
What manga/anime have you read/watched recently? Have you heard of any of these?
Have a lovely day!!

Library Love | 1st Post
Hi guys, so my friend Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? did a post that I thought was really cool and I would want to start doing.
Basically whenever I go to the library, I share in a blog post what I got and hope to read! I think this is meant to be like once every two or three weeks, but I actually only get to go to my library probably once a month...
SO.... yeah haha.
But whenever I do go, from now on I'll be doing a little blog post for you guys! :D
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
So here's what I think they call a ''Library Book Haul''?
I'm not for sure, I may be on BookTube but I am still rather new to the book community (I don't actually know anyone in real life that reads and loves books like I do). I may be a ''bit'' more obsessed than most people....just a little though!
One of these ''books'' you may recognize if you saw My Weekly Pull post last Wednesday as I mentioned it was on my list to read, and that is Yona of the Dawn Vol. 4!
I do still have some books I am currently reading from my last trip to the library, but I am putting them in this because I renewed them so I would have time to finish them (at least a few more days!)
Ace of Shades and
Daughter of the Pirate King!
Carve the Mark and
The Forgetting!
Illuminae and
The Spiritglass Charade (A Stoker and Holmes Novel)
I renewed this one!
Yona of the Dawn Vol. 4!
And that's the books I got from my library! Have any of you visited your library recently? I used to basically live at mine, Lol :D
What books did you recently get on your last trip?!
Thanks for reading loves!
~Noel :)

This week for Anime...
Inu X Boku Secret Service
*Episodes: 12
I finished watching it, and I really enjoyed it!! The ending caught me by surprise, though I did guess that little secret about the letters- just nothing else. It was heartwarming and frustrating at times, but thoroughly enjoyable over all!
What will I be watching next/ What am I currently watching?
I am still watching both Soul Eater and Boku no hero Academia. Though I also have now started Attack on Titan (since I read the first book of the manga last month, I figured why not?).
This week for Manga....
So I previously read Yona of the Dawn Vol. 4, but I seem to have misplaced the other volumes I was planning to read as well for the Yona of the Dawn manga...
While I look for those, I have some other manga I'll be reading!
Ouran High School Host Club Vol. 1
Ouran High School Host Club Vol. 2
I have already watched the anime, but I figured I could try the manga too. My library had a lot of the volumes, so why not?
What anime/manga have you watched/read recently? Any suggestions??
Thanks for reading!!

One Punch Man [Anime Discussion]
Anime Discussions are reviews (or rants if you will) that I do for an anime I have finished watching. I have a page for all Anime-Related posts I do, which you can find here.
~ ~ ~ ~
So I actually meant to do this blog post a long time ago, but other things came up....and I'm doing it now while I have a chance!
Title: One Punch Man
Episodes: 12 episodes
Dub or Sub: SUB!!
Synopsis: Saitama only became a hero for fun, but after three years of “special” training, he finds that he can beat even the mightiest opponents with a single punch. Though he faces new enemies every day, it turns out being devastatingly powerful is actually kind of a bore. Can a hero be too strong?
Okay, this is one of the most hilarious anime I've seen! While it is violent and a lot of action, so little ones be warned, it's also very humorous and has so much potential.
The main character is obviously very overpowered- but it's written to be funny and the plot. Saitama is looking for his nemesis- someone that he can have a hard time fighting- and the adventures he has and the friends he makes by accident on the way are just too funny!
Interestingly enough, it's not all humor and fun times. There are backstories to some characters, there are friendships that are built (though they start out hilarious and not very realistic) and sad moments too. We actually care about a few characters!
The fight scenes will always be epic though. Genos and Saitama's fight is my favorite!
I would suggest watching a little bit to see if you can stomach the violence and gore- if not then you at least tried! The opening is my best friend's favorite song ever, Lol. She listens to it and then tries to punch me in the face (playfully).
[My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐]
What do you guys think of One Punch Man? What anime have you been watching recently?
