Books with Noel

   Thursday, December 18th | Before the said weekend Morning lovelies!! *coffee slurps* It has been a very long time since I've done a post on the blog, but it's now my de-stress-fun-hobby once a week I'm making sure I get back to.      My toddler has decided she's a toddleraserous-rex and with our next one on the way I'm enjoying all the reading time I can get right now when morning sickness isn't striking at least... Holidays are upon us, Christmas and the winter season are my favorites usually, but this year... we've had to move again and we're remodeling at the same time this time... add in pregnancy sickness and it's... a tad stressful this season. So this weekend I'm trying to finish my reading goal for this year! I'm at 42 books out of 50, so just 8 more books to read!! There's no end to my 'TBR Mountain' so it's not hard to grab a book to read, but my mood reading is striking so my list to try and get through this week...

  Happy Saturday lovelies!!     Wow, it's been a hot minute since I felt up to posting on here & wasn't in a major reading slump. 😬 It feels like the last two years I was burnt out on writing & reading so much I've slowly had to army-crawl my way back out of the hole. What have you found yourself reading lately? I feel like I'm in a mood for more regency era romance novels, quite an abrupt reading mood compared to my usual fantasy-based reads lol! I stayed up late for the first time in forever to finish reading a book, Rogue Countess by Amy Sandas , the other night. It was funny, enemies to lovers slow-burn I loved to root for, & just so refreshing to read! It's the first in a series so I'm looking forward to checking out the other books by the author. This first one was free on Amazon's kindle store so I got it to see and ended up loving it!  I seem to be reading more via ebook than physical books now? I've always loved holding the book as ...

      Last Sunday evening Wednesday (my mother's female pug) had a litter of 6 puppies! Now to catch everyone up on the same page, this is what my family's pug situation looks like.... My parents (also my neighbors) have two black pugs, the girl is Wednesday and the boy is pugsley. My older brother that is renting from me has his own pug that's the oldest, Biscuit. She used to be mine before I went away to college. Once I moved away and couldn't take her with me I had to give her to my brother those few years ago. Now, I get to have my pick of the litter to get myself a pug! It's been a while since I had my own to look after and I miss having my own furr baby <3. But we'll see! Having my hands full with Wednesday's puppies (they're starting to stand up and walk!!), I'm finding a bit more time to sit and catch up on shows and discover new books to read- something I've very much  missed.  Care for a peek at my currents?  Currently Reading~   ...

    I'm taking a big, deep breath and exhaling.     It's been quite a long and busy minute since I last posted regularly. It's so so nice and actually relaxing to write here again!     January brought me a beautiful cold front so I took advantage of my (usually unused) fireplace to read in the evenings. 😍 I took some more bookish pictures to share the cozy vibes as well!   As some of you know, I've been cleaning my bookshelves and was debating letting several books go..... call it an intense spring cleaning. So I've been hosting some giveaways and finally cleaning out my TBR Mountain as well as books I've had too long and will probably never actually get around to reading 😬.   Though I also managed to get rid of several books I finally tried and hated with a burning passion, so that was nice!   How has your reading been doing?
