Noel's Cozy New Years Coffee Chat | A cozy bookish post

Happy New Year lovelies!! How has 2026 come faster than any other year?  2025 was gone so quickly it feels like, maybe because I was chasing a toddler and was so busy stepping into my role as a first time stay at home mom that I just didn't notice? I feel like I blinked but I was trying to be so in the moment with my family that I don't know how the year is already over... Is it like that for any other moms or parents? All The Cozy Things We have a cold front right now that is so wonderful, I love the cold weather & getting to do all the cozy warm things when it comes ☕️🕯️  My mother-in-law made me some homemade candles that I have lit at our little kitchen table, I've got one warm sweater pulled out (the rest are packed cause of the moving and remodeling), & I sit on the little couch in the evenings with my pug in my lap and either my computer or a book in hand.  The little couch in our room is right next to Little Coffee Bean's crib, so I'm able to be ne...

Re-reads, Reading Plans, & Retellings ~ Noel likes the letter ''R''

It's been a while loves!  I've posted a book tour or a book review once in a while, but that's been it for a bit... for those of you wondering why I moved last weekend and have been settling in!  Now I'm having to get used to busier mornings, and sometimes busy evenings as well- my schedule is definitely getting fuller. 😅 How have you all been doing?? I've been stopping by to check your posts when I can also please keep Grace 's family in your prayers, for those who don't know she was a lovely and kind blogger who passed away recently. I figured I'd share some things to keep you guys updated! 💛 It seems I've been liking the letter ''R'' lately... I've been re-reading quite a bit this year, and I made plans to re-read some more books soon as well!  - Enchanted Forest by Emory R. Frie (the next in the series is out, so I need to recap) - Lovestruck by Kate Watson (this one isn't technically as re-read ...

Noel Meets ReadAThons & Chinese-Take-Out

Do I live within walking distance of a chinese restaurant? Yes. Do I have  3 of their menus stached around my house? Maybe... Do I have their phone number on speed dial? *knocks over coffee* I'm not answering that one! I don't think I have a obsession with Chinese Takeout, I mean it is one of my favorite foods... but that's besides the point! NOTE: I also real quick want to remind you guys today is the last day for the giveaway for my book, so if you haven't entered yet here's the link !   ANYWAYS... onto other subjects... There's a couple goals I have in April, and since we've already started the month some of the goals are completed already but... I figured I'd share anyways! We all know I'm addicted to ReadAThons and Reading Challenges, so here's the ones I've been working on this month! #WordForWord ReadAThon Hosted by: Desara @ D. January's TBR + Reading Updates!

I didn't plan on doing a TBR post for January, but looks like I will be! Along with giving you guys some updates on what I've just finished- the first books I've read in 2019!! The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest by Melanie Dickerson! This actually was one of the books I finished a few days ago- the first ones of January and the new year!! I was very happy with this new book Melanie Dickerson's, and thoroughly enjoyed everything it had to offer. The Book Jumper by Mechthild Gläser! This book looked too amazing to not pick up! Fallen by Lauren Kate! So I actually finished this a few days ago and... I didn't like it. This book is definitely not for me. The Knowing by Sharon Cameron! This is a companion novel to The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron - that I am absolutely in love with, so can't wait to try this!! Rook by Sharon Cameron! Since I loved Cameron's The Forgetting , why not try some of her ...
