Weekend Reading Check-in | Trying to finish my 2025 Reading Goal in 3 days

Thursday, December 18th | Before the said weekend Morning lovelies!! *coffee slurps* It has been a very long time since I've done a post on the blog, but it's now my de-stress-fun-hobby once a week I'm making sure I get back to.      My toddler has decided she's a toddleraserous-rex and with our next one on the way I'm enjoying all the reading time I can get right now when morning sickness isn't striking at least... Holidays are upon us, Christmas and the winter season are my favorites usually, but this year... we've had to move again and we're remodeling at the same time this time... add in pregnancy sickness and it's... a tad stressful this season. So this weekend I'm trying to finish my reading goal for this year! I'm at 42 books out of 50, so just 8 more books to read!! There's no end to my 'TBR Mountain' so it's not hard to grab a book to read, but my mood reading is striking so my list to try and get through this week...

Lume by TM Ghent | Sci-fi & fantasy? SIGN ME UP!!!

You know the best way to end a long day at work? Or the most relaxing, anti-stressful things to do in an evening? I have no idea either. But I do know my favorite thing is to have a cup of tea and read a good book. Absolutely love it  ♥    Fantasy and sci-fi books are usually my go to reads and my most favorites, so I'm always looking for more to try.  Last fall,  Lume by Tricia Ghent (the indie author's debut novel) was released and the first thing that caught my attention about it was that it was a mix of my two favorite book genres! It took a bit but I've officially finished it and wanted to share about it to anyone that might be interested in this read or looking for another book to give a go!   Synopsis:   The capital city of Lume is on the brink of chaos. A newly formed underground city begins a rebellion, threatening Lume's complacent king. A Prince, content with a warm bed and a full glass, must choose between his family and his ho...

Loving Rosenfeld by Leighann Hart | Coffee & Cigarettes...

Goodreads |  Amazon | Author's Website      The Blurb:     It's four minutes to closing time at The Roast, and all Peter Rosenfeld wants is a steaming cappuccino as he rushes off to an assignment. But they've closed early. So, he does what any level-headed, mature adult would do: pounds on the windows and demands his caffeine fix.
He boycotts the shop upon their refusal to serve him, but returns weeks later and meets Ryleigh, the gorgeous new barista who bore witness to his childish outburst. And while Peter's initial interest only lies in her cappuccino-making skills, her wit and charm soon have him reeling—but she’s young. Too young. A freshman in college.
Or so she says.
Ryleigh has him convinced of it until an article ru...
