   Welcome back journal of my embarrassing writing habits, hard-discovered tips, and writing progress. I did not miss you.  Anywhooo~ onto the entries!! Saturday | All-day            Welp, we tried journal.      Around work, I was supposed to do massive writing today. I was to go to one of my favorite coffee shops and visit my wonderful baristas and friends and get some writing in. However.... I was so tired and I ended up sleeping in, and despite the fact that I still had time to go- my brain kept insisting that I'd missed my window and I should've gotten up earlier for it if I was going to go. So then I cleaned. And when I wasn't cleaning, I was staring at the computer screen (thinking about writing) before seeing something else to clean in the house. Then it was time for work, and OF COURSE I was too freaking tired after my job to sit down and write even just for a few minutes that at this point I desperately need. Jour...

  You know the best way to end a long day at work? Or the most relaxing, anti-stressful things to do in an evening? I have no idea either. But I do know my favorite thing is to have a cup of tea and read a good book. Absolutely love it  ♥    Fantasy and sci-fi books are usually my go to reads and my most favorites, so I'm always looking for more to try.  Last fall,  Lume by Tricia Ghent (the indie author's debut novel) was released and the first thing that caught my attention about it was that it was a mix of my two favorite book genres! Exactly what the title says!!  It is a different writing project than the one we've discussed a few times- that one is still in revision...  I'm so excited you guys!! I'm going to let myself finally let go of those insecurities about my writing- and I'm going to publish my first book!  I know that I'll probably always be at least a little insecure about my writing- but that's because it's something I made and put my heart into.
