One Punch Man [Anime Discussion]

Anime Discussions are reviews (or rants if you will) that I do for an anime I have finished watching. I have a page for all Anime-Related posts I do, which you can find here.

So I actually meant to do this blog post a long time ago, but other things came up....and I'm doing it now while I have a chance!

Title: One Punch Man

Episodes: 12 episodes

Dub or Sub: SUB!!

Synopsis: Saitama only became a hero for fun, but after three years of “special” training, he finds that he can beat even the mightiest opponents with a single punch. Though he faces new enemies every day, it turns out being devastatingly powerful is actually kind of a bore. Can a hero be too strong?

Okay, this is one of the most hilarious anime I've seen! While it is violent and a lot of action, so little ones be warned, it's also very humorous and has so much potential.

The main character is obviously very overpowered- but it's written to be funny and the plot. Saitama is looking for his nemesis- someone that he can have a hard time fighting- and the adventures he has and the friends he makes by accident on the way are just too funny!

Interestingly enough, it's not all humor and fun times. There are backstories to some characters, there are friendships that are built (though they start out hilarious and not very realistic) and sad moments too. We actually care about a few characters!

The fight scenes will always be epic though. Genos and Saitama's fight is my favorite!

I would suggest watching a little bit to see if you can stomach the violence and gore- if not then you at least tried! The opening is my best friend's favorite song ever, Lol. She listens to it and then tries to punch me in the face (playfully).

[My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐]

What do you guys think of One Punch Man? What anime have you been watching recently?
