The Month of July and Inspiration ~ A Wrap-Up

Hello my inspriring friends!!
I have a monthly wrap up for you guys, and lots of things to share with you!

~ Weather + Books I Collected this Month ~

Melting heat, with rain at random times describes the past month rather well. I hope all of you are doing well, I know weather can be very chaotic at times!

For me it was more like this: ''Oh it's lovely outside- I should stay inside and write!''

The books I got this month include:

Guarded Wish by Addison Carmichael

Guarded Heart by Addison Carmichael

My Warrior by Glynnis Campbell

Annabel Lee by Mike Nappa

Fullmetal Alchemist Vol. 1 Special Edition

Yona of the Dawn Vol. 10

Yona of the Dawn Vol. 12

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

The Midnight Palace by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

The Watcher In The Shadows by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

Death Comes To Pemberly by P. D. James

~ Anyone Been Baking Recently? ~

I love to bake, which means I'm obsessed with Pinterest! Though I actually tend to just take the treats that I spent hours baking around the neighborhood. (I bake too much, so who else will eat them except my neighbors?)

Here's the treats that I baked this month! (The link will take you to the recipe, which is not mine!)

Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Apple Fritter Muffins

Raspberry Swirl Sweet Rolls

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

~ How's My Novel Going? ~

So near the beginning of the month, I did the COVER REVEAL for my scifi novel.

What was most inspiring for me this month?
That all of you were so sweet, and supportive of me writing and hoping to selfpublish a book!

I am officially halfway through my revision draft! I've been going out of my mind with revising, editing, and preparing for when my Beta Readers give me feedback. (Coffee has been a must, Lol.)

But I did participate in my friend's UnicornWriteAThon, I'd set a goal of writing 10,000 words for it. And I wrote 11,656 words!

~ I have a YouTube Channel ~

So this may come as a suprise to most of you, but I am a Booktuber as well as a Bookblogger!
Here's the videos that I've uploaded this month:

Double Book Talk: The Empress + Warcross

Double Book Talk: Wintersong + The Assassin Game

  1. Thanks so much for the shout-out!

It seems like you had a pretty good month! At least you read a lot of books. I managed to read four (and a half) books this month. Compared to the rest of the year, that is a lot for me (because school sucks the life and time out of me) but I am hoping to do better in August.

Also, I cannot believe that I didn't know you have a BookTube channel! Excuse me while I go binge-watch all of your videos. But seriously, it takes a lot of courage to put yourself out there like that (definitely more courage than I have).

I hope you have a great August!

    1. 4 is still a good number! And I'm more insecure about the BookTube channel, because I'm so new to it- that I feel like my videos are horrible.

But thank you! I hope you have an awesome August as well!! :D <3

  2. Thank you for the shoutout!

Oh my god you read so much this month, which I’m going to kindly ask you to stop doing because you’re putting the rest of us to shame;)

I had no idea you were writing a book but your cover is beautiful and good luck with that! I’m sure it’ll be amazing. Also I had no idea you were a booktuber too! I’ll be sure to check those out when I get a chance!

I can’t wait to see what you’ve read (and baked, because oh my god they sound delicious) next month!

    1. Sorry, Lol. I'm trying to read as much as I can before I start to get busy again, y'know?

Thank you! Warning about the videos: I'm pretty sure they're horrible, Lol.

Haha, thanks! Pinterest has awesome recipes to try. I'm just more of a baker than I am a cook :)

Heartless is great, I definitely suggest it! Some people like Caraval, some people don't- I personally did like it.
And I've been wanting to read The Thirteenth Tale for awhile now, but I couldn't get my hands on it! Maybe we can Buddy Read it some time if you want?

  4. Thank you so much for the shout out!

Holy smokes! You've done so much this month. First of all congratulations on everything that you have done :)

As for weather in my part of the world, we've broke heat records again this year. Which means it has been very very very hot. I'm not even a fan of the head :(

I love love love to bake! I just made some cream puffs last week on Friday. I don't have any pictures sadly.

I hope your August is even better than July :)!!!

    1. Thank you!! :) Now that I did more than I thought I would it's time to take a break, Lol!

Eek, I prefer the cold to the heat- even though my weather is constantly changing back and forth between the two. I just love everything to do with winter!

OOH, those sound amazing!! Baking is so much fun <3

Haha, thanks! I hope you had an awesome July- and that you have an amazing August! :D

  5. Thanks for the shout out. I wish I could bake. I don’t need the calories. Also, I live at high altitude, and everything I bake turns out flat, crumbly, and weird. Enjoy your new books. I hope you have a good August!

  7. I love to bake as well! I learnt mostly from my mom and I just find it such a peaceful and rewarding task! Glad you love it too :) I read Three Dark Crowns a few months ago and absolutely loved it! I finished it in a day and was captivated by the writing.

Kendare Blake has a haunting kind of writing, she's really unique and I think that's what I like most about her books.

  8. Thanks for the shout out! ❤️

Ugh. I get how you feel about the weather. Gross and icky with the occasional nice rain (only to repeat the cycle all over).

I'm kind of banned from the kitchen because I'll probably see something on fire. 😂
