July's TBR ~ Updated

Hey guys!

If you read my Wrap-Up for June, then you probably saw my TBR for July.  Except that was more of a vague list, because I wasn't sure what books I would feel like reading or be able to get in the following weeks.

However, I now have a better idea of what will be on my TBR for July- so I wanted to update my list and share it with you guys!

Buddy Reads and Book of the Months

Caraval by Stephanie Garber is the Book of the Month for a book club my friend started.  I'm super excited to read it, but I have to wait a little longer to get it from my library :(

The Night Circus will be a Buddy Read on July 10th, with my friend Desara.

ReadAThons

I will be hosting a ReadAThon later in the month, but I haven't decided which books to read for the challenges yet. So I'll let you know in my announcement post what I'll read for it!

Other TBR Books

I recieved an ARC to review for The Shadow Minds Journal by Kia Carrington-Russel. The official release date is August 6th, BTW!

I am over halfway through The Young Elites by Marie Lu, so I really need to just buckle-down and finish it.

The best news so far: I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON Heartless by Marissa Meyer!!
So definitely will be reading this in July!

Unmade by Sarah Rees Brennan, this is the last book in a trilogy that I am so excited to see how it ends!

Champion by Marie Lu, the last book in the Legend trilogy- which I sadly have not finished yet.

I have already read one book so far in July, and there will of course be more books that I try to consume this month- but this is my list to finish by the end of July!!

What's on your TBR? What are you most excited to read this month??

Thanks for reading!!

The Night Circus is one I've heard about forever and just kept putting off, and then it's taken me forever to even get my hands on a copy Heartless Lol.

  3. I have already finished one book this July too (The Cruel Prince by Holly Black) and I am hoping to finish quite a few more before the month is over. I just started reading Children of Blood and Bone, which I am hoping to finish in a day or so. After that, I NEED to read A Thousand Perfect Notes. Other than that, I am going to see how I feel and do a little bit of mood reading.

BTW, I read The Night Circus in the beginning of the year and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! It was a little bit slow at times, but I loved the change of perspectives and the more realistic approach to magic. I hope that you like it too and keep us updated!

I guess we'll see what all I finish in my July Wrap-Up :)

  5. I have a love/hate relationship with Caraval, lol. I really enjoyed the world and the game, but Scarlett nearly drove me to insanity. Also, she never bathes or washes her hands even though she wears a single dress for the duration of the game. I don't know why that stood out, but it did!

Heartless is one of my all-time favorite reads! I cannot wait to see what you think. <3

    1. Yikes, I've heard a lot of mixed things about Caraval so I'm not sure what to expect Lol.

I'm super excited for Heartless, I've been wanting to read it since I first heard about it! <3 Marissa Meyer is one of my fav authors :)

  6. Good luck with your TBR. I've had Heartless since it came out, but I still need to read it. I also need to read Winter so I'm aiming to read that ASAP and then I can move on to other Marissa books. :)

Library Love | 1st Post

Hi guys, so my friend Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? did a post that I thought was really cool and I would want to start doing. Basically whenever I go to the library, I share in a blog post what I got and hope to read! I think this is meant to be like once every two or three weeks, but I actually only get to go to my library probably once a month... SO.... yeah haha. But whenever I do go, from now on I'll be doing a little blog post for you guys! :D                  ~             ~             ~             ~               ~                ~ So here's what I think they call a ''Library Book Haul''? Hello lovely peoples! I have a book review to share with you, and at the bottom (after the review) will be a little Q & A section.
