Title: Rebel Book #3 in the Sons of the Alpha series
Author: Addison Carmichael
Genre: Supernatural, were-kind, werewolves, Romance
Published: August 1st, 2019
AMAZON | GOODREADS
Synopsis: To avoid a forced, loveless marriage to a man she detests, were-Cougar princess Jade Lamarche escapes to the neutral territory of Santa Barbara, California to finally live life on her own terms. But she discovers this is a dangerous country where female Cats are rare and highly sought after by dozens of vicious rouges, and Jade finds herself needing the help and protection of a lone Wolf outcast from his own Pack.
A Wolf Pack in a blood feud with her own family’s Cougar Pride.
After failing to prevent his friend’s suicide over an unspeakable crime, were-Wolf prince Luke Bryant breaks from the unjust and restrictive laws and constraints of his Pack and disappears into neutral territory. At last, he is free from the suffocating expectations of his people and the forced control of his High Alpha father.
What Luke didn’t count on was befriending a lone female Cougar who requires his help at every turn in this deadly, untamed Wild West. Or the fact that against every natural law known to were-kind, he’s impossibly developing feelings for her.
Deep, taboo feelings.
Because one thing is always certain—A Wolf never falls in love with a Cat.
The order of the Sons of the Alpha series is as follows (including prequels and links to reviews):
I feel like I have not read a book that made me squeal this much in a while, I have I'm sure I've just been so busy with things going on- the new move went great by the way- that I haven't taken the time to sit down and enjoy a good book. Which this book pretty much forced me to do, so that's good!
From Jade's spunky character to the romance- and I loved seeing some other side characters again- this book had me turning the pages and once again eagerly awaiting the next book!! 😍😍
I love how Addison's books intertwine with each other and reveal more, while also giving you a glimpse of what happened to past characters.
In this book, we get to see Jade Lamarche, the younger sister to Prism (the character from Claimed) going through something similar to what her sister faced as well as deciding to do something extrememly crazy on multiple occassions! 😁
Honestly, her mother surpised me a lot throughout this book. From the beginning you see the other side of what it's like for the royal were-kind females, and I gotta say- that sucks.
I was cheering when Jade's mother took a stand and helped her daughter!
I also was cheering about that little reveal we find out about Trace later- SPOILER: I like him a lot by the end of it all.
Now as for Luke and Jade, I loved how the Carmichael did the reveals- because yes there needed to be multiple. Trust me, it made it so great! 😉 I was extrememly happy with this newest edition to the series, and can't wait for more!!
The Sons of the Alpha series is definitely perfect for lovers of: were-wolves, supernatural, and steamy romance!
[My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐] [4.5 stars!]

Rachel Pudsey
Author of A Fiery Twist of Fate
Rachel was born and raised in Scotland. A graduate of psychology, she now resides in South Korea. She has dabbled in teaching children, but after a few blessed years has succumbed to teaching English to adults in Seoul.
Rachel has been writing stories since as long as she can remember. An obsession with Point Horror books led to her first novel being written at the age of ten. Truth be told, it wasn’t very good. The following years were spent reading thrillers, romantic comedies, fantasies, occasionally playing guitar, and dabbling in songwriting, all the while continuing to write stories unworthy for print and developing her own style.
She is the author of The Aronia Series, a light, clean, adventurous YA fantasy-romance series that follows a girl through a journey into realising one must be careful what they wish for.

Alicia Scarborough
Author of Flames of Ashes
As a child, Alicia Scarborough’s family would often find her acting out stories that she had envisioned for her toy ponies. Her mom and sisters admit that they would carefully sneak by her room to hear the conclusion of her riveting tales. Stories have always held a special place in Alicia’s heart, and as she grew up, she continued to hone her craft. Alicia makes it a personal goal of hers to up the stakes with her characters every chance that she gets.
In her tween years Alicia grew up in the beautiful Sierra Mountains in the small town of Tehachapi, California. Because houses were far apart, a bike or car was necessary for visiting friends. So instead Alicia would use her imagination to come up with interesting stories to bide her time. By the time she was 13, her family moved and settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where she lives today.
Working full time as a Senior Product Engineer, Alicia’s job involves using both technical and creative skills. On her off-hours she can be found drawing with charcoals, painting with watercolors, reading stories, writing, or learning new and interesting things.

Maria Vermisoglou
Author of Crystal’s Magical Tale
My name is Maria Vermisoglou and I’m a Bestselling fantasy author who loves throwing her heroes into impossible situations. I draw inspiration from books, travels and…the ceiling. (So, blame the ceiling!)
I started writing 4 years ago when an idea came to me. That idea started all… When I’m not writing, I love a good riding on the fantasy dragon but a book can also be exciting along with a cup of tea.
I’m currently residing in Crete as a librarian, battling monsters and supernatural creatures from overcoming the world.

The Death Messenger by Henry Taba | A Cross Between Thriller & Supernatural!
* I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, all thoughts and opinions are my own!*
Title: The Death Messenger
Author: Henry Taba
Genre: Thriller, Suspense, Supernatural
AMAZON | Goodreads
Synopsis: “A message is delivered, his friend is dead, and both are connected.”
Westcliffe Patel in his early thirties, living alone with a decent job in a small town. When he has just had a glimpse of joy, he has a car accident. And thereafter, a whisper of sinister voice haunted him—telling him a message. Assuming it is just an illusion or maybe after effect from the accident, he continues his accustomed life. But when the ominous message confirmed by the death of his friend—the unexplained death mystery quickly clings to his mind...
Besides the death has confirmed his imaginary demon—which he thought ain't real, he soon receives the death message of his girlfriend. He has no choice but to dive deeper and avert his girlfriend from becoming a victim. How can Westcliffe stop the demon he has never met? His life never the same again.
A character that hears whispers of death after a car accident?
A thriller mixed with supernatural elements and a side of romance?
YES, PLEASE!!
I really enjoyed the plot, the author was very original with his idea and executed it well. After a car accident, Westcliff begins to hear whispers of death, and becomes rather paranoid about- which is to be expected honestly. You could probably predict some of the plot points, but you definitely still like the plot and pacing.
Especially once one of Westcliff's friends has a... ya'know what, I'm not gonna spoil that.
The character developments- Westcliff's girlfriend added some extra goodness to the plot, and everything progressed rather nicely though I was sad to see a certain character didn't make it to the end :(
And finally I also really liked the author's tone and writing style. I do have to say that I wish there had been some more editing, so if you can overlook that- you'll really enjoy this suspenseful and thrilling ride of a read!
[My Rating: 🌟🌟🌟]
