#UnicornWriteAThon | 24-hour Writing Plan Announcement

Follow me on BlogLovin

So my friend Desara is hosting a WriteAThon!
The UnicornWriteAThon, and it's from May 13th - 19th.

What you do: Set a word goal to accomplish during this writing period.

My friend's goal is 3,500 words on her novel.

For the UnicornWriteAThon I will actually have 2 goals:

1. To write 2,000 words.

2.  To write for 24-hours.

I know that my first writing goal seems rather small to some, but I have plans for the last half of that week- and I don't know for sure just how much writing time I'll have. So I'm going to go with a smaller amount for now.

For the second writing goal, I plan to space out my writing until it equals up to 24 hours (or more). I've personally never done it before, but I've been planning to for awhile now.

I will be working on my novel, When Stars Fall From The Sky.
For those who don't know, here's a link to my tab about it: https://bookswithnoel.blogspot.com/p/blog-page_22.html.

Feel free to join in on the fun in the WriteAThon! :D

Sadly, I don't think I'll have the time to do a vlog on my YouTube channel. So my progress will just be on here for now. As always, I'll record my progress and let you know how I do!

Do you like to write? What do you like to write most? Any writing plans or goals this month?

Thanks for reading!

  1. I'm actually doing the May 10k Word Challenge where you try to write 10k words in the month of May and as a community we all try to write 1 Million words in total! Anyone can join, so if you'd like, you can add your word counts to the excel sheet too!

I mostly write for my class assignments and for this blog. I don't have creative writing projects at all, but maybe one day xD

    1. Oh wow, it sounds really cool. Is there a word challenge every month, or is it just for May?

    2. As far as I know, it is only for May. I hear there's a 100K word challenge in November, but that's more for writing your own book and putting it in a competition.

    3. Ah, sounds like NanoWriMo. I've never participated in it, but I've heard a lot about it.

  2. Thank-you for joining! After this WriteAThon I'm going to start outlining more of a novel I want to write. Do you type or use pen and paper to write? I use google docs which makes it much easier to transfer to the website I'm using to publish it.

It depends for me, every writing project I write differently. Currently I use Scrivener and a large notebook.

    1. That's fine! I heard some writers combine them and stuff (I don't think I could, but it sounds cool). The novel I'm writing for the WriteAThon will be the first one I've finished (besides short stories). So don't worry about it!
But feel free to join! :D

Library Love | 1st Post

Hi guys, so my friend Lindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? did a post that I thought was really cool and I would want to start doing. Basically whenever I go to the library, I share in a blog post what I got and hope to read! I think this is meant to be like once every two or three weeks, but I actually only get to go to my library probably once a month... SO.... yeah haha. But whenever I do go, from now on I'll be doing a little blog post for you guys! :D                  ~             ~             ~             ~               ~                ~ So here's what I think they call a ''Library Book Haul''? Hello lovely peoples! I have a book review to share with you, and at the bottom (after the review) will be a little Q & A section.
